As the production capacity of Client A’s chemical plant increased, so did their demand for effective process filters. The main filtration mediums include hydrogen peroxide, aromatic hydrocarbons, and catalysts. Conventional polypropylene high-flow filter cartridges were not suitable, while metal and bag filters got clogged too quickly, disrupting stable operations.
Client B had been using traditional string-wound filter cartridges, where yarn is wound directly onto the core. While the client had been using this type of filtershad been in place for years, it came with several challenges. The yarn often shed fibers, compromising the filter’s integrity, and the uneven ends of the yarn affected the cartridge’s sealing capabilities.
After analyzing the client’s requirements during a detailed online consultation, our technical team developed a customized high-flow cartridge with a horizontal pleated design. The traditional filter cartridges the client had been using quickly became clogged, leading to frequent replacements and increased maintenance costs.
Client D required a solution for filtering industrial water with a specific challenge which involved not only removing impurities but also separating oil from water. Their traditional oil-removal filters, made from glass fiber in pleated or wound forms, used a demulsification layer to break down emulsions.
Client E, a manufacturer of battery slurry, faced significant material loss due to the limitations of their current integrated capsule filters. The high viscosity of battery slurry made it difficult to fully discharge the material from the filters during replacements, leading to wasted raw materials.
In 2021, Pullner designed a custom filter cartridge with high added value. In this case study, we precisely met the client's demands for non-standard high-flow filter cartridges, considering end cap dimensions, installation methods, and technical requisites. Leveraging existing technical documentation, we designed and confirmed the end cap dimensions and materials.
Our high-flow filter cartridge boasts wide applicability, featuring a multi-layered, multi-granular filtration approach. With a purification efficiency exceeding 99.99%, great dirt holding capacity, larger filtration area, and low operational resistance, our design ensures both efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
The structure's material can be tailored to site conditions. For this case, we incorporated a sturdy integrated outer frame sealed with O-rings, facilitating clean and fluid purification. This design ensures durability, pressure resistance, reliability, and easy installation.
In June 2021, Pullner established a dedicated team for developing custom fiberglass high flow filter cartridges. Our technical team includes experts in chemical processes, water treatment engineering, and other fields, bringing years of relevant experience to our projects.
For this particular case, the project team independently designed software to input design process data and component structure dimensions. Meeting the client's demand for a chemical-resistant filter system, we designed non-standard end caps that guarantee the sealing of filter layers and end caps. This polyester-based high flow filter cartridge is specifically designed for capturing particles during hydrogen peroxide production. Our solution ensures no precipitation during the process and overall chemical resistance, meeting the filtration requirements of the hydrogen peroxide production process.
In March 2020, Pullner undertook the customization of an internal pressure high-flow filter cartridge, an essential component for internal pressure filters. Designed to intercept particles in water, this filter cartridge ensures water purification to meet operational standards. Its high interception efficiency and low resistance make it ideal for various applications. Our design employs a multi-layered, multi-granular filtration approach, and the material can be optimized based on on-site conditions to achieve a purification efficiency exceeding 99.99%.
In January 2023, Pullner established a dedicated team to design custom filter cartridges for oil removal in oil field water supply workshops. Selecting materials based on site conditions, temperature, pressure, and filtration precision, our design efficiently intercepts oil contaminants to ensure water purification. With O-ring seals, the liquid enters from the outside of the filter cartridge, passing through the filtration medium and exiting from the inside, providing clean water that meets operational needs. Our design adopts a multi-layered, step-by-step multi-granular filtration approach, achieving a purification efficiency exceeding 99.99%.
In January 2022, our dedicated design team customized horizontally pleated high-flow filter cartridges for water purification. Leveraging our team's extensive project experience, designers utilized advanced software to input design data and cartridge structure dimensions. Through simulation, we modeled the horizontally pleated high-flow filter cartridge and determined key design parameters, ensuring efficient water purification.
