The main filtration mediums include hydrogen peroxide, aromatic hydrocarbons, and catalysts. Conventional polypropylene high-flow filter cartridges were not suitable, while metal and bag filters got clogged too quickly, disrupting stable operations. To address these challenges, there was a clear need for a high-flow polyester filter cartridge specifically designed for this industry.
To address the challenges faced by Client A’s chemical plant, we formed a dedicated R&D team. After a detailed analysis of the plant’s operating conditions and extensive lab testing, we developed a tailored high-flow polyester filter cartridge. This solution improves upon conventional polypropylene cartridges, incorporating enhancements to meet the unique demands of chemical processing.
The filter cartridge features we developed for this client, has a fully polyester core and end caps for improved durability and chemical resistance. Fluororubber sealing rings were added to ensure compatibility with harsh filtration mediums like hydrogen peroxide and aromatic hydrocarbons. The filter media combines polyester with ultrafine glass fiber and PTFE-coated membranes, offering reliable chemical compatibility and effective filtration.
Our gradient filtration design uses multiple layers to trap impurities at different stages. This increases purification efficiency to over 99.99%, while also enhancing dirt-holding capacity and expanding the filtration area. These improvements lower operational resistance and reduce long-term costs. Additionally, the materials and design can be customized to fit the specific needs of the client’s operation, ensuring optimal performance.
To ensure the proposed solution met the client’s needs, our technical team carried out detailed laboratory tests. These tests included analyzing important aspects of the filter media, such as pore size distribution, air permeability, flow rate, filtration efficiency, pressure drop, and compatibility with different media. Additionally, we assessed weight and thickness to ensure consistency and reliability.
Understanding the client’s specific requirements for flow capacity, filtration precision, and operating environment was crucial. Based on this, we selected the most suitable polyester material and fine-tuned critical design parameters like pore size, flow capacity, filtration area, and porosity to optimize performance.
After the production team produced sample cartridges, we conducted visual inspections and performance tests on the final products. Following multiple rounds of evaluation, our technical team confirmed that the cartridges met both market standards and the client’s operational needs.
The high-flow polyester filter cartridges developed for this client were put to the test in real-world conditions at the client’s facility. The results were that the cartridges performed reliably, reducing the frequency of replacements by 35%. Over time, they maintained consistent performance, proving their ability to enhance filtration efficiency and durability. This not only ensured smoother operations but also delivered noticeable cost savings, reinforcing the value of choosing a solution tailored to the client’s needs.
Designed for applications requiring high flow rates, this filter cartridge can handle an impressive 110 cubic meters of fluid per hour. The high throughput capability allows for reduced cartridge usage and minimizes filtration equipment size, ultimately leading to cost savings.
This series of filter cartridges comes in polypropylene, glass fiber, and polyester materials, offering versatility for a wide range of fluid filtration conditions. They feature a wide range of micron ratings from 1 to 100 microns, available in 40" and 60" sizes, and come with a lifting handle design for easy installation.
